When working for Scottish Opera, cutting the costumes for three opera’s back to back all the fabric off cuts got thrown in a large wicker slip and when the shows were all on stage in production we were allowed to help ourselves to the off cuts. This silk slip I designed and made from a selection of a beautiful silk in skin tones with antique lace for edge detail and an eyelet ribbon drawcord to pull in and pinch the waist
